Anyone that travels frequently knows that a well organized set of travel documents makes the trip much less stressful.  Scrambling to find your passport or boarding pass is never a good feeling!  Over the years, I have sampled a number of different systems.  Some that I made myself and some that were pre-manufactured for travel.

If you travel often, this is a great tip to de-clutter and leave room for purchases along the way.  Pack clothing that you don't like on the trip.  Wear them once or twice and then leave them in your hotel room when you check out!

Credit Where Credit is Due
My parents subscribed to The Bottom Line for me as a gift and I frequently find great tips for both my business and home.  The other day I read this travel tip and laughed, but I think that it would work.  Stephanie Pierson, creative director at a New York advertising agency shared the tip with the magazine.

An alternative, if you have a personal electronic organizer, is to keep the directions linked to the address and phone number of the person or organization.
