It seems like almost every day I am setting up a new account with a new password. People on average are subscribed to at least 25 websites that require a log-in. With all of those sites, it would be easy to slip into simplistic password choices. Many people use only 6 different passwords for all of those sites.
It is true that you can save time by not needing to remember different passwords, but you might also get into trouble thanks to simple, often-repeated passwords.
Today’s infographic explains the difference between good (strong) and bad (weak) passwords. It also includes several common passwords that are best avoided.
