Think about this today! What is your 20?
A few days ago, my blog post on Self-Discipline and Productivity - How to build self-discipline was being re-tweeted and discussed on Twitter. Here are a few comments:

IleenieWeenie is SO NOT a slip-up! Yet many feel that way. I thought I'd share another perspective on this mathematical fact. The 80/20 rule is a fantastic and Patrick Dixon shared his perspective in the video below.
There is a difference between slipping and focusing on the results you want to get. It can be however, all in how you look at it. Sometimes we are so focused on the little things that we think we "need" to do that when we don't do them, we feel we have slipped up.
Patrick suggests that we take a calculated look at what is on our plate and FOCUS on the activities that will give us the most impact. That means that some things will not get done, but in many ways that is OK. It is about picking your spots.
So what do you think of Patrick's thoughts on the 80/20 rule? Have you had feelings of guild about slipping up? How might you think differently from now on? I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments section below. (Go here if you are reading this in your email.)
To your success!
