Do you struggle with organizing your discs? Many people do! If you are like a lot of people, you have tried the disc books and other popular organizing strategies. Today I'll tell you about a different alternative.
Below are pictures of the system that I use to manage my discs in my office. It is a filing system that does not take up much room, is easy to maintain and easy to access.

Here is how I built my system
- purchased the folders and the snap-n-store containers
- numbered each tab sequentially (1 - 350)
- numbered each disc (using a sharpie marker)
- put all of my discs in the tabbed folders.
- logged each disc in my Paper Tiger system
Now, when I need to find a disc, I do a quick search in Paper Tiger and it tells me what file folder to go to and the search is very quickly over!
Alternatives to this system
If you don't have Paper Tiger, you can create an index using your word processor or spreadsheet programs too.
I decided to use numbered files because it is much faster for me to put new discs into the system. You could choose to label the tabs with words to tell you what is in your file box.
What do you do?
